Subsidized Housing
To further assist our tenants we accept WHEDA and Section 8 Vouchers.
In order to qualify for section 8 you must:
1) Collect all proof of income including pay-stubs for all family members.
2) Calculate your monthly income and determine exactly how many family members will be included
3) Call your local Housing Agent. Let them know what your monthly income is and how many family members, they will let you know if you do or do not qualify.
4) If yes, go to the office and meet with the agent to fill out an application.
5) The worker will let you know what program you qualify for, either section 8 or WHEDA. They will help you from there until you are approved.
6) Once you are approved they will mail you a letter of approval which we will need to see.
